I never expected Obama to make any great changes once he got to Washington, but the financial crisis has given him an opportunity to make those changes right now. However, he has continued to show that he does not mean what he says. Or, perhaps I misunderstood what he said. That's entirely possible, as we TV viewers have learned, because we all need to be told by analysts and talking heads what someone said immediately after they say it. Obama has already assembled a team of advisors and cabinet nominees that have "professional" and "Washington insider" written all over them. That's not change. That's business as usual.
